Christmas Eve

Yesterday was the eve of Christmas. A day for us human to make merry and enjoy and feast without any inhibitions and any guity feeling after pigging out haha...

I started the day with a game of soccer with my air force friends @ the new UNSW campus. Wow!!! The game lasted a total of four hours! Now feeling sore cause due to lack of match fitness after not playing for so long.

Later, in the evening time, I went to my cousin's house for our annual Christmas feast with all my relatives. Cool! As usual, I get to eat until I cannot squeeze anything into my mouth to swallow down my esphageous LOL. Had a great chat with my cousins who are nearer my ages.

Played with my nieces and nephews and for the 1st time ever, I find that actually playing with young children and toddlers can be quite fun to the point that time passes by so quickly man! Oh man! They are all so lovely and cute haha... How can anyone not like them? Love my nieces and nephews! Gotta wait till the next gathering to see them LOL.

Thought of resting at home after my feasting at my relative's house but, as usual, there are sudden injects from friends. Met up with my poly classmate and another poly schoolmate. How ironical! The three of us met up at Vivocity, the new shopping mall, at 12 midnight. So many shops are already closed man! Dunno wat they wanted to shop for haha... The movie tickets were all selling out fast and as the movie thingy was a spontaneous decision, there wasn't any way we could have booked our tickets online or over the counter.

Then, we headed down to Mount Faber. Wow! Cool man! Took the package of 2 drinks and a to and fro trip for the cable car. It is really romantic to be sitting high up in the cable car and looking down or straight at the lighting decorations. Since it was my first time going to Mount Faber, it was also something special but no, not with any special someone but with friends, anything can be special and does not have to have the romantic component in it.

Later on, we headed down to Tanjong Pagar to have our supper. OMG! There was an ambulance parked right beside us and two police cars came rushing down the road with their sirens ablazing loudly. As my friend commented, "It is really sad man. A day for enjoyment and people just have to get into this kind of trouble. Haiz.." I totally agree with her. What enjoyment is there in going for each other's throats? Sometimes, it seems a simple word of apology, the magic word is SORRY, seems more valuable than our life. This is a naive thinking.

We finished our supper as soon as we could and left the sleazy place as fast as our legs could take us haha.. No point getting into any trouble for no apparent reason out there when it was already Christmas day, a holy day for Christians, and, a day for non-Christians to make merry and to let our hair down and have fun.

All in all, the long weekend has come to a close already. To work tomorrow for those who are working. For those who are on holiday, it is time to recover from all the late night outings and partying out on the streets.
