The Most Common Question I Was Asked
This year, or should I say, ever since I began working or completed National Service, the most common question I was asked is,"Do you have a girlfriend?"
Well, thanks for the well wishers and those who thought I have one haha.... More often than not, the answer to this common question is that I do not have one currently and no past relationship too to draw any experience on.
Somehow, people tend to associate those who are always happy and cheerful, full of laughter and joy, to be in a BGR. I do not agree as there are many things in life which can make us cheerful too such as, your pet and meeting up with old friends who you were, or still are, close to at some point of your life.
Whenever people find out I do not have gf, the next question they will ask is, "Why not? How come ah? Your expections too high huh?"
C'mon man. It is not a matter of whether my expectations are high or whatsoever. I just don't find the reason to get into one relationship if I do not have special feelings for that particular gal even if she is good and nice and pretty mah right. Why should I toy with another's feelings as I have seen for myself, all these years, how my friends who had been in a relationship made to suffer so when they were being toyed with.
For me, if the gal is interested in me and I am not, no go.
If I am interested in the gal and she is not, no go.
It must happen to be that both of us are interested in each other then will there be green light to take things further than "just friends". I do not know how many of you will agree with this but I am pretty sure no one who is reading this will totally rebutt all that I have said.
There are also times when we have met the right person at the wrong time. That is pretty bad luck man I personally feel and to this, sorry to say, I do not have any ready answers to help out on this matter too.
All right, all in all, that is all there is to this blog posting. Happy weekend and I promise to update my blog periodically with at least one blog posting once a week. (hopefully hahaha.....)
