One Week Gone By

This past week, subtracting Sunday which is in less than 2 hours' time, should have been a relaxing week for me but then, due to some unforeseen circumstances, it became a week of running here and there for me.

Monday, as usual, I went to work and ended work quite early, before the usual timing of 8 plus in the evening.

Tuesday, I was on MC cause I had a stomach upset and some headache which was a accumulation of the funny feeling I had for quite a while.

Wednesday, I did not feel better and my slight sore throat became worse but I could not see the company's clinic doctor as she closes on public holidays and Wednesday happened to be Hari Raya Puasa.

Thursday, I went to the doctor and had 2 days of MC for my sore throat, flu and fever. The sore throat and the flu were really killing me man. Whole night had to keep getting up to clear the mucus in my nose which prevented me from breathing properly and sleeping well.

Friday, after downing what seemed to be gallons of water on Thursday and Friday, my flu and sore throat became better, with the help of the medication prescribed.

Saturday, which is today, I went to SGH to visit my colleague who is warded in the hospital due to some unknown problem which has not been confirmed by the doctor-in-charge as he is still diagnosing the symptoms and waiting for the lab reports.

Squeezed in a little study time to do my homework but apparently, it seems that working and studying has really taken a huge toll on my health and financial health too. Hopefully my health will be better soon.

Trying to squeeze in some exercise which apparently, for these past few months after my reservist, seems to be running in the office, walking like a person processed in the office too due to heavy and hectic workload and those STUPID LAST MIN URGENT matters. Add that walking to one bus stop before the MRT station as my daily exercise too.

Better health, a more healthy mind is the sogan I have been holding close to my heart and chest since my secondary school days.

Really thinking of going for PT work and doing my night classes or changing to FT studies. When I went to school early on Thursday and Friday, seeing the FT students there made my change my mind of going to FT studies as they are so noisy, rowdy and do not really seem to be really thinking of studies but go there to relax and play before exams come.

Not a very conductive environment to study man. Thinking and thinking daily and hoping things will be better with the passing of time. God help me in my studies man as I have limited time to study and revise. Should I or should I not change to PT studies if finances is not an issue?
