What a week

This week really sux for me man. If having fuck timing to go back to base is not bad enough, I still have to open report for a really nonsensical thing which I dun really wan to remember. Add to that, I quarrelled with a 2nd Sergeant cuase he damn irritating n naggy. Ppl make mistakes so be it lah, let us new NSF learn from it. Why does he have to harp n harp on it. If this is not the SAF, I guess everyone of my batch will have given him a "blanket party" already.

How ironic is that, sometimes, I really wonder whether NS is to shape us up or make us become good servants who do not question what the upper management has told us to do. The more you try to probe, the worse the situation will turn against you.

Due to the many things that has happened the past few weeks, I really feel that I am damn "heng" that I did not sign on. Many of my batch boys share my sentiments as they almost did sign on in poly like me. To see and to experience then, to make a final decision is really a sensible decision that I made when I was in BMT cause I too, almost did sign on in BMT time cause of the attractive starting pay.

Come to realise that pay is one thing, but, ultimately, it is working in the environment that I know that I can excel and be comfortable than to have ppl barking down my neck like I am some dog or should I sae, some slave that they bought from a 3rd world country.

Once again, I have to say that though NS have its downside, it does also have its upside as I really got to see many kinds of ppl and got to know some nice friends while I am still currently serving.
