Are we amateur bloggers?
Recently, there are alot of stuff in the papers about blog. There are now "blogbrities" man, which is the combination of the words, blog and celebrities. The next up and coming is vlog, which is video logging. Are we going to have "vlogbrities" in time to come? What next man!
There are those who are now considered "blogbrities" and there is this gal who I really dun give a shit or fuck who the hell she is but then, one comment which she said really pissed me off a little. She said that there are alot of amateur bloggers out there who juz blog for the sake of keeping up with fashion and times. Am I not correct to say that she is also doing likewise too? Does bareing two mammary glands which is used to feed babies milk considered PROFESSIONAL? If this termed as professional, then those porn stars are really going to have star status as, should I use an example from soccer, our local football star of the 90's, Fandi Ahmad.
If this person think that having some form of recognition allows her to talk nonsense in the national paper, then she has really let a little fame get to her head. Being a celebrity means being a role model, talking sense and talking what is MORALLY right and not those empty talks that stir people's feelings up unnecessarily.
Now, there is another person who says that to if a blog has served its objective, then it is a good blog. Is it so? Many of us are blogging with an objective too. Yes, the majority of us who they termed as AMATEURS! We blog for letting our friends know our feelings, our thoughts, how we have been if we are in a faraway place, to let friends know how we really feel inside which we otherwise will not say face to face right.
There are also people who write a blog as an online diary which is the case of my friend, Yong Jian. Does that mean that he is an amatuer? NO! Cause, by reading what my friends wrote about their thoughts and feelings which they might not want to say face to face, somehow or another, I get to know them better in a way which will otherwise not be achieved.
To some, a blog needs to just fill an objective. For the many of us out there who are still blogging, we may not have a main objective but we do have many objectives which I have mentioned in the above 2 paragraphs.
So, I sincerely wish that those blogbrities will really talk with their brains working instead of just trying to say things to attract attention of the media and people to read their blog. I do not even consider the gal who bared her breasts and call them ART a blogbrity. Now what is her blog url again? I do not care and never will want to know as she is somewhat, to me, a rebel who has no direction in her life and who thinks that the world revolves around her.
Once again, this is my personal opinion and this blog does not serve to piss anyone off which, if it does, I oso cannot do anything as one cannot please everyone in this world right. If God is not able to after thousands of years, what am I?
