Last Day of August
Today marks the last day of August. Nothing special though today. Went to base as usual. Did what I was instructed to do without any error or HF. Phew~ 2 more days to go for this week to make it a clean sheet.
Yesterday was my sec sch best Chinese guy friend's birthday. Happy Birthday Yong Jian! Finally 21 liao wahahaha... Welcome to the ADULT SIDE of life. No more teenager, pre-teen or young adolescence liao.
Today also marks the eve of Teacher's Day. Nah... this yr, I din go back to my sec sch to visit my friends and teachers, as if there are many teachers to visit there liao since many have transferred out or retired liao. But, there is one person who is not a teacher but then was my sch's discipline master when I was in sec 3 onwards. Heard tt he is no longer in charge of discipline but in charge of infrastructure. Politics I say.
He is Mr Alex Tay. Though some ppl may not like him, but, he is actually a caring person if u get to know him better. Is not bias to anyone too. If not for him helping me to sign the guarantor's part for the CPF papers, I would not have completed my poly and may have to wait for another yr tt yr to enter poly. That would mean a yr of doing nothing man. Phew. The past of 2001. Lesson learnt: Never sign anything that is important at the last minute.
Hmm... As today is the celebration of Teacher's Day, it also reminds me that, there are so many people who I have met in sec sch, known in sec sch, the times spent together with friends, schoolmates. Aww.... indeed, sec sch life was actually the best time of my life man. Known many ppl, got 2 awards, my confidence went up a notch or two higher due to successes both in the academic area and non-academic area.
Those times.... leads to what I am now. The past shapes what we are presently and, the present things that we do will shape us up for the near future and over the horizon. Can I become better than what I was? Yes, if I have the self belief and confidence in myself.
