Sze2 21st Birthday Celebration
Today, I went to my primary school's friend's, Sze Sze, birthday celebration which was quite near my home. Been to quite a number of birthday celebrations but today must be quite special in a sense cause I saw one of my old classmates, Wu Jiao aka Sharon.
Had a nice time catching up with each other and updating each other on our lives since primary school. It is quite a while since the last time I saw any of my primary school friends save for those who live just a stone's throw away from me.
Been's almost a decade since I graduated from primary school and wow wow wow, there seemed to be really alot of stuff to catch up on with any of my friends who I have not seen for quite a while. Throughout the hour long chat, it seemed like the time was not even enough to summarise those important incidents and events tt unfolded and occured during the times spent in secondary school, polytechic or JC or the embarkment to the working world out there.
Many of my peers have since matured to the point that I feel that there's alot of growing up still for me to do. It may be due to the fact that I have not really stepped out to the working world though National Service has really done me lotsa good in some ways and, dare I say, those part time jobs and temporary jobs that I worked during the waiting time for the 'O' level results to be released and during the holidays in poly.
As for now, what I have to do is to keep serving my National Service liability, think of what I can still improve on in my life. Hopefully, I still can keep in touch with those friends of mine whom I have shared a decade or so of friendship with.
