Rubber Band...
Today, went about doing routine stuff in the base. Then, my IC asked the three of us to go to do some work in another place. Sort of like got diverted.
Worse was yet to come. When everyone from our shift went home while we were there slogging out hearts and strength out. Heck! If that is not bad enough, no one from our shift even bothered to ask whether we had our lunch or needed it. It is not the fact whether we got to eat or not. It is more the fact that, does it mean, "Out of sight, Out of mind," for those people there? What happens if something happened? Will anyone know? Might sound too exaggerating but, it is how it feels. A simple act of showing concern can go a long way.
Luckily, the reservist, Chee Wee and me had camaderie and we managed to complete the sudden task given to us. Then did some changes and went back to where we were originally placed to collect our stuff.
Went home after that and here I am, typing out the day's stuff I did today. The End.
