Last Sat B'dae Celebrations
Last Saturday, which was the 22nd of July, which is also my birthday. I actually planned to get my books back from Ying Yun and then spend the rest of the day at home.
Then after a short conversation with her, I decided not to take the books from her yet. Instead, she was right! Why not spend the special day with some old classmates to make it more memorable and meaningful. Meaningful, yes. Memorable, still ok, nothing different from my normal weekend outings.
Met up with my poly classmate, Mun Poh, whom I have not meet for a almost a year and a half. He treated me to a round of dessert. Felt so awkward to have treats like that. More to come.
Later, we met up with Ying Yun at Suntec to go and view the health fair at the exhibition hall. Wow... Did not expect her to change so much and dress so nicely. Is it cause now more matured and she also execute a new sense of maturity and feminity which I did not notice there and then all these years as her good pal? Not sure.
Mun Poh left us to meet his girlfriend, leaving me and YY together. We went over to Marina Square to find Yong Jian who was working there for the Sony DSLR fair. After that, we met up with YY's friend, Teng, to have dinner. My god... I seemed to keep eating and eating every 2 hours.
Both YY and Teng treated me to a steamboat buffet. I thought of giving my share to YY but she did not accept it. Gosh! So touched to have friends who like her around. In the evening, Imran, my best Malay friend, came and join us in the Chinese steamboat buffet. So embarassing for him but no worries, he did not touch any thing as there were pork so he was not guilty of anything.

I later asked Heyong to join us as YY and Teng left for work. We played the combat war game at the Bugis arcade. Not a very good and not a very bad shooter LOL as I was not the last to die and not the best. The best was Heyong. hahaha....
Imran then treated me to a packet of onion rings at Burger King's. Heng ah... he wanted to treat me to a set meal but my stomach was going to be stretched to the limit already.
Imran went back home shortly after the meal. Heyong and me went to find YY at Acoustic which was located at Boat Quay. Had a jug of Tiger Beer and both of us left home.
Was home 5 mins before midnight to blow out my candles with the slice of cake which my sister bought for me. So touched haha... Been's a very, very long time since I last blew out any candles on my birthday. The most recent before this was on my 6th birthday. Too long right LOL
Alright, that sums up my birthday celebrations. Nothing special except that I had Ying Yun, Mun Poh, Imran, Teng and Heyong for company from 2pm till 11:40pm on the most special day in the calender of my life.
