Shinyi's Birthday Celebrations
Shinyi's birthday is on August the 9th, which happens to be Singapore's National Day too haha...
So, the usual stuff this year and last year except for some minor difference. Last year, we went to PartyWorld for KTV and, this year, we went to catch a movie, My Super Ex-Girlfriend which was a damn bo liao show. It is not so bad considered the fact that I watched with this group of friends who are bubbly and quite fun to be with.
The group of people who I went with to celebrate Shinyi's birthday were, Xin Yi, Cornelieus, Michelle, Jian Wen, Colin, Elina, Wei Hao, Ying Wei and Annebelle. Maybe was quite monotonous and static at times cause of the waiting time for some friends to arrive.
We had dinner at Plaza Singapura. The day went quite well. Maybe at times I felt like there was some generation age gap thingy there as it was quite hard to establish a common platform and topic to chat for a period of time with them. Maybe due to the age? Guess I was a little too tired and might be overtly sensitive ba.
Bought a shirt for Shinyi as her birthday present but, it was quite spontaneous as I din prepare a present and had to buy on the spot. PRESSURE!!! Hope she liked the present which I gave altough it seemed like alot of people gave her shirt.
Guess I will have to prepare the present for her earlier if there is any celebrations next year. Anyway, hoped that the star of the day had a wonderful time and thanks for adding me into the celebrations Xin Yi!
