Yr End Bowling Event @ Marina Bay on Sat 16 Dec
The year end event for the company which I am currently under probation in was held at Marina Bay. It was a bowling event with games and such for those who are not bowling.
Luckily for me, I won the 19th prize in the lucky draw. Did not expect to win anything as I do not usually have much luck or even have any luck at all in any lucky draw or lucky dip haha... The last time I won something in a lucky draw, it was around 4 years back. As for this recent lucky draw, I won a table fan. It is not very strong but at least it is still a prize and I am PROUD of my prize.
Early Christmas present LOL.
For the bowling event, there was supposed to be 10 ppl playing but in the end, there were only 7 ppl for my lane and the lane next to us. So, we 7 ppl played the 10 ppl's game. Not bad not bad haha... Seems like I now get the hang of how to get a strike or a near strike already. This is gonna be one of the things which I am going to do come this January onwards.
Then, after the event, I went out with Heyong to look for his soccer boots but then it seems like he did not see any which he fancied at the Nike warehouse sale which was held at the Singapore Expo in one of the halls.
When it was evening, we went to meet up with his godsis Sharon for dinner and accompanied her to shop for her sandals. Haha... too bad for her, most of the shops were in the "I am about to close" mode as they got their shutters down halfway or their doors were half closed with the sales assistant standing at the door to halt any new incoming customer.
All in all, it was a fruitful day.
