New Post For The New Year!

Before I embark on what I did last night, on the last day of 2006, I shall begin with what I did on the second last day of the previous year.

30th December 2006:

Went to Velocity which is located at Novena with Jimmy, Shi Chang, Guo Ping, Lai Tuck, Yao Choon and Marvin. There wasn't much things to view and it is just a small mall located near Tan Tock Shen Hospital. After that, we headed down to Toa Payoh Hub and had our dinner there at Pizza Hut. It was not a cheap meal as it cost us almost 30 bucks each just to fill up our stomachs. Going by this pricing, my personal thought that it might be better to go to a restaurant.

On the 31st December 2006:

Met up with Yun Ting, Shi Chang and Guo Ping to watch the movie show, Sharlette's Web, at Suntec City. The last show of the year haha... Not a bad show as it was quite a feel-good show and it depicts how true friendship should be like though at first, we thought it was a children show.

After that, we headed down to Chinatown Point to have our Indian vegetarian crusine meal. Not bad as some of the food there were quite nice, much better than those I have tasted before. After the meal, Yun Ting headed home as he was not feeling well. Tough luck to be feeling unwell on a partying night but hope he is better now.

The remaining, which was the three of us, then went down to Expo to have a look at Guo Ping's sister's Church celebration. We saw Patrick Tan there and after a while inside, we went out and headed down to see some singer, sorry I cannot remember her name, at Downtown East for the final countdown to the new year.

The countdown at Downtown East was quite family oriented. Not a bad change from the times when I went down to Orchard Road or Suntec City for countdown.

Going on to more indepth things. There may be times in 2006 which we will remember and there may be times which we'd rather forget which had happened in the previous year.

Since it is now a new year, now is the FIRST DAY OF 2007 NO MORE 2006, we shall begin our day and our year on a clean slate, just like a clean sheet of paper. Whether we will be better off or still be the same, it is up to us to change it. CHEERS TO TWO O O SEVEN!!!!!
