Tiring Week
Last Sunday, I met up with my jie-jie colleagues to go shopping @ Bugis Junction and Bugis Street. Not bad to meet up with them to have some fun and play around. Well, one of my colleagues' sister also joined us haha.... Air stewardess some more lei LOL.
Then on Tuesday, went to celebrate my colleague's birthday after work with a few more others who are in the main lunch group with us. This time round, we went to the restaurant, V8, which is located inside V8. After dinner and taking of neoprints and some window shopping, we headed home but, just as I was heading home, my another colleague asked me whether I wanted to joing her at Tanjong Pagar so I obliged. Went to her friend's pub for a drink and some games to kill some time and relax a little before I headed home.
On Thursday morning, my colleague gave me a $15 Sizzler voucher. Since I have not tried Sizzler before, I asked my colleague to accompany me for dinner at this restaurant. Well, I must say that, in my context, the prices for the main course is not that cheap but, if I factor in the fact that the salads and the ice cream are FREE FLOW, then the price is actually quite reasonable.
On Sat, I met up with Yao Choon, Eddy, Guo Ping and Jiang Feng to catch Wild Hogs and had dinner with them at Aijisan Restaurant at Plaza Singapura and the movie was at The Cathay. Caught up old times with them and had really great fun to be with people who you suffered with together during the times in National Service. The kind of bond which is hard to foster with anyone outside.
After that, we headed home. I was walking home when I saw Xin Yi and her parents at the hawker centre haha... Small world. Had a chat with them for over an hour. Talked alot about our lives and how things have changed. Found out how other friends are also doing and really, to meet someone who is a great friend for a long time is not that easy these days as we are all busy with either studies or working life.
Hope to catch up with my Air Force friends more often after their exams and to my XMM friends too as you guys and ladies have made my life really wonderful and colourful and meaningful and, there is also this consolation that life is bad but, with really good friends around, nothing can seem too big for me to handle and take.
